Between May 11th and May 15th, Integrated Dreams hosted the on-site lecture stage of the Football For All Leadership Programme (FFALP) Africa 2026 in Rabat, Morocco.
Bringing together participants from across the African continent, the program created a unique space for learning, collaboration and project development focused on inclusion, accessibility and disability football. This first African edition brought together 18 outstanding participants from across the continent, all deeply committed to promoting inclusion and disability football within their own communities and organisations.
The week began with opening remarks from the Integrated Dreams’ team, followed by an inspiring session on Personal Development & Leadership led by international expert Dan Dodge. Participants immediately engaged in discussions around leadership, communication, and personal growth while building strong connections with fellow participants from different countries and backgrounds.
Throughout the week, participants took part in sessions covering Project Management, Community Engagement, Sustainability, and Impact Measurement, with contributions from experts including Ihsane Mahjabi (Tibu Africa), Emily Belcher (Beyond Sport Foundation), and Ayoub Ait Atman. A major focus of the programme was disability football and accessibility. FIFA representatives Laure Gruffat and Halla Ousta introduced participants to the FIFA Disability Football Toolkit and shared FIFA’s work on accessibility and inclusive spectator experiences. Participants also had the opportunity to experience practical activities involving blind football and sensory inclusion. The program also welcomed Rhizlane Siba from Special Olympics Morocco, who presented the organization’s work in football for people with intellectual disabilities, while Hamid el Aouni from Morocco Handisports contributed valuable insights on disability sport development in Morocco.
One of the highlights of the week was a visit to Al Madina Stadium, made possible thanks to the support of the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football, where participants evaluated accessibility features and discussed practical solutions for more inclusive football environments across Africa.
Alongside the educational sessions, participants spent significant time developing their own community projects with support from the Integrated Dreams’ team and external experts. The week concluded with the final Project Presentations, where participants presented their initiatives before an Advisory Panel composed of experts from football, accessibility, and sport for development sectors. The panel provided valuable feedback to help strengthen the sustainability and impact of each project. The on-site stage ended with a final dinner shared by participants, speakers and organizers; a moment to celebrate an intense and inspiring week filled with learning, collaboration and new connections.
We would like to thank all speakers, partners, and participants who contributed to making this first African edition of the Football For All Leadership Programme such a meaningful experience. We now look forward to following the projects and impact this cohort will create within their local communities across Africa.
