On December 1st, our colleagues Joana Cal and José Soares were in the US for the Celebration of Achievement of the ADAPTandTHRIVE Leadership Course 2024, officially closing the program. After almost a year since the on-site lecture stage took place, this was the perfect opportunity to catch up with all participants and share knowledge and learnings from their journeys and projects. For us, being able to spend this time together face to face is truly invaluable.
It was a day full of activities and unforgettable moments. There was a full circle moment: while being in the stadium to watch USWNT vs Italy, Katherine Ward received the U.S. Soccer Social Impact Award Presented by Haleon, celebrating her leadership with USA Deaf Soccer Association and as a foundational member of the #USdeafWNT. Kate is a FFALP 2018 Alumni, the very first cohort of the first training ever delivered by Integrated Dreams. We were also delighted to have the surprise presence of Zach Dickey from the 2023 AaTLC cohort for this celebration.
We would like to thank Jim Moorhouse and Stuart Sharp for their trust in Integrated Dreams from the beginning, and the amazing support from Pascale Rocca on a daily basis managing this programme on the U.S. Soccer Federation side.
And, of course, congratulations to all participants who concluded their participation in the AaTLC, even though we will keep following their projects and supporting them well after the program has ended.
