Leadership Program.
Creating opportunities for disabled people to be a part of the soccer landscape as administrators, coaches, referees, program builders, and more. This course will help provide a runway to ensure US Soccer has access to an inclusive workforce and programming for part of its legacy for 2026, 2027, and 2028.

The ADAPTandTHRIVE Leadership Program will select approximately 15 Participants to take part in a one-week course to receive in-person educational resources. In addition, each Participant in the course will receive mentorship and tutoring as they create and activate a disability soccer program of their design that they will launch, execute and present in their communities across the country.
The Program is designed in 2 stages:
1. Onsite Lecture Stage – 7 days, intensive training.
2. Project Development Stage – 6 month commitment from Participant’s place of residence (part-time for Project Development or full-time for internships/project development on the job).

- Have a disability (evidence through official document required);
- US Residency;
- 18 years old or above;
- Have at least 1 year of experience in the sports world (professional, volunteer, as an athlete, coach, member of a disabled supporters association or other will be considered);
- Fluent English;
- Availability to take part in both Stages of the Programme (7 months in total). Minimum of 8 hours/week during Project Implementation Stage (develop/implement an individual project linking sport and disability);
- Proof of flight booking.
