European projects.

Integrated Dreams believes in the European Union project and the unique opportunities it creates for knowledge exchange and development of a transnational cooperation ecosystem. Since its inception, Integrated Dreams has been a part of several Erasmus+ projects and will continue to contribute to true disability inclusion through European cohesion mechanisms.

Inside the stadium bowl, three line-art icons represent different disabilities: an ear with a slash through it (hearing impairment), a person in a wheelchair (mobility impairment), and an eye with a slash through it (visual impairment). Below the graphic, the bold, dark blue text reads "ELEVATE SS," followed by the light blue subtitle "ACCESSIBLE STADIUMS FOR ALL." A horizontal line separates the main logo from the bottom section, which includes the European Union flag and the text "Funded by Erasmus+ of the European Union."

ELEVATE-SS (2026-2027)

Integrated Dreams is a partner in ELEVATE-SS, an Erasmus+ project running from January 2026 to December 2027, with the mission of making football stadiums more accessible for disabled fans across Europe.

Alongside six partner organizations from the Netherlands, Poland, France, Romania, and North Macedonia, we are contributing our disability inclusion expertise to help design a standardized accessibility training program for matchday staff. Our specific role focuses on leading the Needs Analysis for the Iberian region: conducting research, organizing stakeholder workshops and producing a Training Needs Assessment Report that will shape the training content developed for stewards, security, ticketing and hospitality teams.

The final program will be delivered through an interactive digital platform in 11 languages, with pilots reaching over 700 staff across three countries.

Experience of our Lifetime (2025-2027)

Building on the collaboration with Crecer en Positivo (NGO) during the “Feeling Amazing” Erasmus+ Project, together with Integrated Dreams, the Project Partners, Crecer en Positivo (ESP), Small Codes (ITA) and IDEM (ESP) are working to design an innovative strategy for junior Summer camps that prove inclusive and safe, and are adjusted to the needs, characteristics and interests of youth living with an intellectual disability. Studies have shown that working with the target population between the ages of 13 and 30 years old is essential to generate social confidence and personal skills that will offer a unique opportunity to live a full life.

The Project encompasses:

  • the development of an accessible guide to enhance the empowerment and happiness of youth with intellectual disabilities
  • the development of an App designed to make it easy for youth with disabilities to register and manage their camps, and include user information, starting with pilot and test stages
  • design of a training manual for camp instructors
  • knowledge exchange between Project Partners
  • delivery of a final activity and impact report

iFlipp

The iFlipp project is a three-year project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and it seeks to assess recent research in the representation of women and ethnic minorities (WEM) in leadership positions in football in order to develop responsive inclusive leadership governance action plans at National and European levels.

Project aim and goals:
The aim of the project is to increase and enhance leadership skills of women and ethnic minorities (WEM) in football by creating and piloting a set of inclusive professional development training materials, transferable and adaptable for sport organisations. The project will look to support inclusive leadership practices and promote equal opportunities and good governance in football by also producing European policy and action recommendations based on a co-created common position in a manifesto, endorsed by football stakeholders, to ultimately build capacity among and promote peer learning by/for emerging WEM leaders in football through the creation and nurturing of an enhanced network.

Project outputs:
One of the training materials developed through the project is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the topic of Diversifying and Transforming Football Leadership. For development of training content and broadening the European network, Integrated Dreams organised a local leadership workshop with several women and ethnic minorities, in Portugal, in May 2021. This workshop had the support of the City of Cascais. Enrolment in the MOOC is open to all those interested, it is free and available online here.
